This is because the opening and closing " characters are on separate lines.
IIRC, this is an ongoing problem with piklab. Can this be fixed in the source
distribution (apparently it's an auto-generated file)? I wonder how many
newbies will just say "aw, crap" and give up.
I'll devote 5 - 30 minutes (depending on the program) tracking down and
fixing such bugs, but after that I say "aw, crap" and give up ;-)
Impressive program. Keep up the good work.
