Chances are that the gtkextra-2.0.pc file is not located where  pkg-config
expects it to be. Probably the easiest thing is to copy gtkextra-2.0.pc to
/usr/lib/pkgconfig/gtkextra-2.0.pc (or to
/usr/lib64/pkgconfig/gtkextra-2.0.pc if your on a 64-bit machine).
