I am not so sure how difficult this will be as I do not know much
about host side of programming.

Personally I do not think an NDA is that bad if one has
the technical expertise to build a plugin. This may be
easier than reverse engineering.

All in all, very few people have used this plugin and I think
very few people really care to use this plugin so it might not
worth the efforts after all.
