Subject: Need on-line info re. register allocation
From: Chris Glur ####@####.####

Message-Id:

I've got a scanner & parser for a subset of algol/pascal,
via an augmented FSM, which I've proved on several uprocs.
But now instead of using the easy P-code interpreter
model for the back-end, I want to directly use machine
code, for the Pic-uproccessor/s.

What are guide-lines for allocating variables to registers
.etc.
The indexed register pointer could perhaps handle the
procedure-stack-frame ?

TIA,

== Chris Glur.
