Works for me. May I suggest "peripherals"? It's not really a sample or
an example, its just for a different kind of device. Of course, I would
then ask that said new directory be included in the default search path
for include files.

If you want stuff for a samples/examples directory I've made a lot of
macros/functions for interfacing to this device. I'll contribute the
code if its welcome.

I suggested the file's inclusion, not because its an MCU, but because
its a Microchip device and all of the other headers are for Microchip
devices. So in that sense it seemed to "fit in". After looking at it
from a different direction I can see how it doesn't. I won't complain if
it gets rejected, it was just a suggestion.
