I have already written a program for a PIC programmer (for my own
programmer), but I found it not "universal", and not very well written. I
have started to think for a more universal program which can support a lot of
different programmer using a plugin module.
Concerning Cump, I think the idea of a programmer on serial port is a very
good idea, so it is possible to use it with an ASCII terminal. I have also
think of an USB version of this programmer, since in it case the PC can
provide a +5V and the programmer doesn't need an external power supply. In
this case the USB programmer can be seen as a serial device using the USB to
serial convert module in the kernel.
So, I'm very interested to start this project again.
Ps: I'm french too, and my english is also poor !
