Hi!
One year ago, I made with a friend a quasi universal PIC and serial
EEPROM programmer for both Linux and windoze. I developped hardware
part, and my friend developped soft part.
Soft part is a GTK based GUI (not very well written), and hard part is
not very well designed, but programmer works fine, and I use it each
time.
So I think sources could help to develop your new universal programmer
(help on Microchip protocol to program PICs, GUI, ...)?
Actually, you can see screenshots, download rpm package (tested on
Mandrake 7.2 and 8.0), onto my home page (in french sorry :-):
