Hi all! God bless you for a good new year.
I have just completed Draft 2 of the RFC spec of
RATbus, a 6x successor to CANbus.
PIC uC's and SimmStick are its most obvious platform.
I'm just getting started in gpasm, and there's a
lot of work to do, so I need help.
CAN continues to grow in automotive, factory-floor
and medical applications, so this is an opportunity
to invade an active market with 6x faster
communications! Besides, it will be fun.
Visit the RATbus project and review the design.
Latest changes: application engineer gets all tags
(none reserved to bus chores), and we solve the
message starvation problem with almost no bus
overhead. There's no software yet, so jump in and
grab some of the programming assignments from me.
