That's good, I'm cross-compiling for an m68k target using an i386 Linux
host.

The FAQ mentions a port to MSDOS, my experience of configure scripts is
that they need a fairly modern Un*x environment to work so my concern is
that if Microwindows moved to autoconf, it might make life more difficult
for those working on non-Un*x platforms.
