: I did more tests using mterm (linux kernel 2.2.15mdk). I found microwindows
: peeks keystrokes from the virtual console where I typed the command "mterm"
: (tty1) while the application is running on another console (tty8). I
: modified the keyboard driver so that it peeks keystrokes from tty8 but then
: mterm uses tty9 (this probably because svgalib find tty8 is aleady open by
: the driver so allocates a new console).
Hmmm. I thought that you were saying that the keyboard didn't work
on any demos, not just the mterm demo. Mterm is a little more tricky,
perhaps you don't have PTYs compiled into your system or something.
Try running some other demos that use the keyboard. I'll look into
the "peeking" issue. The kbd_tty.c only "peeks" characters
when the main level select() tells it there's characters on the fd.

Greg

: What do you think about this explanation? Could you suggest any workaround?
: Why this happens only to me?
