This really is the most Frequently Asked Question. Unfortunately Greg
doesn't appear to have updated the FAQ on the web page to answer it yet.
Make sure you have a writable /tmp directory, that there isn't already a
file in there called .nano-X that is owned by some other user, and that
you have enabled Unix Domain Sockets in the kernel configuration.
