Okay, second round of testing.
First, the Makefile stuff worked. I was able to compile with no
problems.
Unfortunately, the Epson 1250 still comes up with a black screen in the
XSane preview window. This is true with or without the _GENE_ flag.
These are the same results that I had with 0.42-0. No errors, just
incorrect output.
Keep up the good work, and let me know if I can be of more help!
