Hi,
Latest kernels with devfs automatically create a device
/dev/usb/scanner[0-9] when USB scanners are connected. In 99% of setups
it's a single USB scanner.
Currently it's not automatically detected without manual changes to
plustek.conf (currently the device is set to /dev/usbscanner).
I suggest adding new sections to the plustek.conf file that is packaged
in the sane distribution:
[usb] 0x07B3 0x0017
option lampOff 0
option warmup 180
option lOffOnEnd 0
device /dev/usb/scanner0
# 0x0013 is product ID of my Plustek UT12
[usb] 0x07B3 0x0013
option lampOff 0
option warmup 180
option lOffOnEnd 0
device /dev/usb/scanner0
