Hello from Neumünster/Germany,
I installed the driver following the instructions from www.gjaeger.de -
but in the last step it failed.
I was when I gave the command "make load"
The following sentences were given by the system:
/sbin/modprobe pt_drv II exit 1
/lib/modules/2.4.10-4GB/misc/pt_drv.o: invalid parameter parm_forceMode
/lib/modules/2.4.10- ...... : insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.10-4GB/misc/pt_drv.o failed
/lib/modules/ .................................... : insmod
pt_drv failed
make: *** (load) Error 1
What went wrong?
And also the checking of my parallel port with "cat modes" gave only the
result:
PCSPP
How can I teach the system to work with TRISTATE and EPP as well?
