I got the Epson Precision 1250 Photo today. (I ordered it last Monday.)
Using the instructions and the modified Plustek backend for SANE, as on
http://www.gjaeger.de/scanner/plustek.html I got it working within
three hours. This includes compiling and installing the current version
of SANE.
Using Xsane I get a weird color cast; scanimage produces pretty good images.
Software versions:
kernel : 2.4.18
sane-backends : 1.0.7
sane-frontends: 1.0.7
plustek-sane : 0_42_9
