Hi,
not really a problem ;-)
You might load the driver at startup by putting
the modprobe pt_drv command into your
/etc/init.d/boot.local
script or you add the following to
/etc/modules.conf:
alias char-major-40 pt_drv
pre-install pt_drv modprobe -k parport
Then the module will be loaded each time you need it, i.e.
while loading xsane...
