Hi all,
After having solved the first problem with my HP2100c scanner I've now
run into a second problem.
The scanner is recognized, and I also can make previews. But when I try
to actually scan it takes a long long time, nothing happens, and then I
get an error message popup "Error during read: Error during device I/O".
The same also happens after I've reset the scanner (disconnect usb lead
- reconnect usb lead) and then I'm trying to scan without doing a
preview first.
I'm using Slackware 8.0, kernel 2.4.18, and sane 1.0.8.
I've tested with xscanimage and with xsane, they both give the same
result. I've reinstalled the sane-backend, but without any luck.
The preview is oke, but I'd like to be able to safe the images also.
Any help is appriciated.
