Okay - so there's a bug in the 0.42 version, I'll check that.

This is okay so far. The driver can only distinguish different
ASICs and memory sizes but the 9636T/12000T and the 9636P Turbo
have the same memory size and the same ASIC, that's all. AFAIR there's
a switch to tweak this: use mov=3

It think a driver problem! Is lp.o loaded or a printer "in-line" with the
scanner?
