Hello,
I try to install the driver of plustek optic pro 9630P to my redhat 7.3.
When installing redhat 7.3 , I had installed sane-backends,
sane-frontends,etc.
So I download the same version of sane tarball 1.0.7 of redhat 7.3,
and the plustek driver of version 0.42.9.
Then as the INSTALL doc says ,
I unpack the sane-backend and unpack the driver to sane-backend directory.
And enter the driver directory and make , make install as root.
The edit the modules.conf
But when doing make load, here is the error message:
/sbin/modprobe pt_drv || exit 1
/lib/modules/2.4.18-3/misc/pt_drv.o: invalid argument syntax for
forceMode: '.'
/lib/modules/2.4.18-3/misc/pt_drv.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.18-3/misc/pt_drv.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18-3/misc/pt_drv.o: insmod pt_drv failed
make: *** [load] Error 1
So I don't know that what is the problem of invalid argument syntax for
forceMode:'.'
What can I do to install the driver? Thanks your answer:)
