It's goin' on guys...
In the Test area on www.gjaeger.de/scanner/plustek.html
you will find test-version 0.45-TEST1.
It contains updated code for the UMAX and allows
Canon coarse calibration...
Please test.
For the UMAX guys:
I've updated the register settings and added at the
end of file plustek-devs.c a section for tweaking
the motor PWM and master clock dividers (MCLK) for the device.
If the motor does not move and only makes a terrible noise,
you might increase the MCLK values for the current resolution...
