Hi Hans-Joachim,
What does scanimage say?
Is plustek enabled in file /etc/sane.d/dll.conf?
Is there a /etc/sane.d/plustek.conf file?
Do you have a /dev/pt_drv entry?
Do you have read/write access to this device?
Please check this.
If this won't help, enable the debug facilitiy before
calling scanimage:
export SANE_DEBUG_PLUSTEK=12
scanimage -L
and send me the output of that.
