Sadly, the bloke I obtained this scanner from cannot find his documentation. He originally bought the scanner from Watford Electronics. They apparently touted it as an "own brand" but in fact it was a relabeled nameless taiwanese clone. The only useful reference I have been able to find about the scanner on the web is http://www.zdnet.co.uk/news/news1/ns-169.html which is a brief mention of the scanner when it was first touted by Watfor Electronics.
Have managed to get the parallel port to work in EPP mode - good speed improvement over SPP. I gues I will have to upgrade to a faster system if I want A4 300 dpi colour scans without stipes!
