I've noticed that when I try to scan a photo using my Canon N1220U with
the sane-plustek 0.46 backend, the quality is far worse than when I scan
the same photo on Windows, using the same resolution.

The problems mainly occur with colors being washed out by white and dark
areas. Is it possible that the plustek software can scan with less
quality then Canon's Windows drivers, or is this a configuration problem?

Thanks in advance.
