Hi Paul,
no worries, everything looks good! The -9019 error
tells us a version conflict in the ioctl interface between
the backend and the driver.
It was my fault that this is not clear when downloading,
that in case of using the V0.37 driver you MUST recompile
sane. I had to change the ioctl interface because of the new
support for the A3I model and so the driver won't work
with the 1.0.3 distribution.
Well sorry again for the bad docu about this error-case.
So currently there are two solutions:
Download the plustek-module tar ball which contains
the driver-part which should work with your binary
sane-1.0.3 or recompile sane as described in the
INSTALL file.
