Crapy kernel/compiler..
You can savely ignore the warnings... They only tell you that
the file plustek_scan.h and plustek_types.h end without a newline
character. You might add this...
I think Kevin also uses Mandrake 8.0
The unresolved symbols are quite strange. Have you enabled the proc fs
in your kernel configuration?
Can you also tell me the compiler version (I'm using gcc 2.95.2)
