Hi,

well the problem is, that the memory test fails! The scanner is recognized
(or better the ASIC) but the mem test fails and so the driver refuses to load.
So what to do? I can see, that you're using the switch slowIO=1, please
try and use slowIO=0. You might also try and set your BIOS to SPP-mode
to check if this works even better.
The other thing is, that this scanner hasn't been tested so far! I have a report
about an OP9636P but this has an ASIC 98001 not the 96003 - so it seems
that Plustek again has sold two different scanner with the same name...
