Hi everyone,

	I've been trying to get my scanner setup on Debian box but to no
avail.  Basically, xsane discovers the scanner and it seems to scan just
fine until it's almost done and then it returns an I/O error.  I tried
xsane again later and then the scanner makes the most awful grinding
noise.  Has anyone seen this before?  The scanner is a parallel port
scanner and I'm using the latest version of sane and xsane from Debian
unstable.  Any help would be much appreciated!
