Hello together,
in SDuse 7.3 we have sane 1.0.5-71 without any "backend" directory.
Only in /usr/share/doc/packages/sane thewre is a directory
"sane-backends".
I have tried to install plustek-module-0.39-7 or plustek-sane-0.39.7.
In both cases I can make "make all" and then "make install", and I
can find pt_drv in /lib/modules/2.4.10-4GB/misc. But make load or
modprobe pt_drv is not possible:
"insmod pt_drv
Using /lib/modules/2.4.10-4GB/misc/pt_drv.o

I have changed modules.conf with the 3 lines ofcourse.
Do I have to install an older sane version or have I made again
something wrong?
