Hi,

you're right to go back to 0.39-3, but I'm afraid you can't do anything
here to help.
I started to merge code from the OP A3I with the driver in order
to speed up the 600dpi ASIC96003 based models - I failed and
that's currently the reason why models like the OP9630 cause
the I/O error...

The other thing, that the SANE guys refused to integrate the driver
code is, is because of it's restriction to Linux!
