Gene Heskett sends Greetings to Florent Capdeville;

ISTR I had something I picked up from a freshmeat search about 18
months ago. I'd have called it alpha grade at the time as it couldn't
do a thing with scanner output of less than 300dpi, and did rather
poorly at 300 dpi, with an accuracy rating by me of somewhat less than
80% at that definition on a page of many mixed fonts.

However, I'd expect time to have improved it, and now that we have or
are going to have 1200 dpi scanners, it may well work quite well.

Cheers, Gene
