Please go to my download-site at
http://home.t-online.de/home/g-jaeger/plustek.html
and check the download section either for the package
plustek-sane-0_40_14.tar.gz
and install this one according to the installation instructions or download
the RPM of a patched SANE-1.0.6 from
http://kyrian.ore.org/RPMS
with the USB support...
The original SANE-1.0.6 only contains a backend that is able to talk
with a kernel-module that controls the Plustek-parallelport devices...
