The Lamp seems OK now. Scan results are also much better, but they are
still red-biased and the whole thing became very sloooow.

BTW, yesterday I found this mail from one of the developers of the
LM9832 on the Scanjet2200c-devel mailing list:

He is offering his help in providing further documentation and
sourcecode for a generic LM9832 driver for Windows, that can be
configured for different models via ini files.
Wouldn't this also be interesting for this project?
