Hi Steve,
I currently have updated the driver, that it
will compile under kernel 2.4.0-test5.
If you want me to send you the driver, let me
know.
I have checked the parport module and found
out, that they have completely changed this one.
So the changes I have made might not work
correctly. But this will be limited to some
special hardware components. If you have a standard
parallelport using EPP mode, the driver should work
under kernel 2.4
