Well, this is a known issue! Plusteks' naming convention is not that clear.
It covers several technical different models by one name.
The only UT12 ths is and will be supported is the 0x0017 with a
LM9832 chip.
The 0x0001 uses a Grandtech chipset, which is currently not supported
by any backend (but I think there's some work in progress)
