Thanks for the info. I'll try it this evening.
The C file inside the tarball seems to be three versions behind the
current CVS head which I used to play with.

AFAIK, the only difference is that the 1250/photo comes bundeled with
the photo scanning unit which you can also buy as an add on for the
1250.
