I have my usb UT12 working apparently satisfactorily now, thanks to
assistance from folks on this list. Only thing is if I switch off or put
my laptop to sleep the scanner module seems to unload and I get the
message: xsane: no devices available. If I then go - 'modprobe scanner'
in a root terminal all is then well until I suspend the computer again.
My usb printer does not have this problem. Can anyone please help? This
is not a major problem, but is rather irritating.
