Hi,

I wanna program PICs with my SPARC Ultra 1. I have done it before with
PC. Do you know some software to do this? I'm using prog84 on PC with
linux.

I'm using Solaris 2.6

If someone has experience of a SPARC programs a PIC, please share.
Thanx.

Levente

wow, that's an expensive programmer. :) What kind of I/O do you have to
work with? (EIA232 serial? parallel printer?) I don't know exactly how the
I/O routines vary between Solaris and Linux.. there may be issues there
that could prevent simply re-compiling a linux program to run in Solaris.
Or maybe it would just magically work. :)

I have serial (V.24,RS232C) and parralel port.

Is the picStart_plus programmer uses the serial port in "POSIX" mode (I
mean standard mode.)

Yes.
If you have PS+, could you test Pista?
http://gatling.ikk.sztaki.hu/~kissg/pd/pista

I wonder if it works under Slowraris.
