Hi folks,

I have found a software, which can burn all the PICs. Does anyone has
experience with it? I want to use the PIC16f87x.

Anyway. It says only the size of the memory is differs in any member of the
PIC16x family. Is it true?

Hi Leva.

That statement is absolutely not true. Along with the memory sizes, the
programming algorithm and various programming parameters can be
different. The chip erase algorithm is different for a number of the
PIC16F* chips as well.

You can try it and there's a good chance that it will work. The author
says it works with a PIC16F84 and the programming algorithm for the PIC16F84
is the same as the PIC16F87x.

Mark
