I am just trying to compile gpasm unter MS Visual C++ . However I cannot find anywhere 
the file where the type gpasmVal is defined.

e.g. one such error message is:
h:\Programme\gputils-0.12.0\gpasm\directive.h(33): error C2061: syntax error : identifier 
'do_insn'

gpasmVal do_insn(char *name, struct pnode *parms);

Does anybody know, which file is missing to me?
