Programming of 12F675
From: Tobias Schlottke ####@####.#### Date: 19 Mar 2003 09:56:30 -0000 Message-Id: <Pine.LNX.4.31.0303191022570.2591-100000@lemorio.netcs.com> Hi, I want to use the PIC12F675. For my last project (16F84) I used gpsim, so I want to continue with that nice tool. (I'm using Linux). I already read on this list that I can use a headerfile similar to the 16F87x one. How can I programm it (in circuit)? I read the microchip website up and down but didnt find a program spec. I would like to use picprog by Jaakko Hyvätti http://hyvatti.iki.fi/~jaakko/pic/picprog.html and the simple serial interface by Jens Dyekjaer Madsen http://www.jdm.homepage.dk/newpic.htm For the 16F84 this combination worked well. I expect that this will work. Any ideas? Thanks for any hints, Toby

I checked 40175C.pdf (12C67X-12CE67X), but 12F675 is not mentioned in this document. So there should be a separate one. Hi!!! For programming pic 12F6XX you need the 41173b.pdf. I found it on "MICROCHIP TECHNICAL LIBRARY CD-ROM ( forst edition 2002)". I think that this file you can found on microchip.com. If you can`t find it I can send it by E-mail (240K). Sorry for my bad English :^)) I am from Russia.

Yes. Thanks a lot, with knowing the "secret" 41173b it's easy to find. Best regards, Toby
