Subject:
Building of gputils using MinGW/MSys under Windows

However, the process for >compiling on a win32 system has not been developed. This will be provided >some time in the future. > >Until then, official gputils ports to win32 will be generated using a cross >compiler on a Linux system. The following scripts will configure gputils to >cross compile to win32 using a Linux system: Actually I am able to build it using MinGW/MSys following the normal "configure -- Make -- Make install" process. The default "Make install" put them in /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/share/gputils which will then map to the following directory in my system: C:\msys\1.0\local\bin (gpasm/gplink and others) C:\msys\1.0\local\share\gputils (header and lkr) I know that we need to set two environmental variables as well. For example, in my system, they are set by the Win32 installer as: GPUTILS_HEADER_PATH = C:\Program Files\gputils\header GPUTILS_LKR_PATH = C:\Program Files\gputils\lkr Now I have a question. How do we package the program nicely just like the released Win32 binary package? I do not find this in the documentation.
