From: "Xiaofan Chen" ####@####.#### Date: 24 Apr 2006 12:54:49 +0100 Message-Id: <a276da400604240454m4e2c4f3nd1b96d39491aa16d@mail.gmail.com> Nicolas has released Piklab version 0.7.0. Among other updates, it now supports PICkit 1 (basline and midrange PICs) and PICkit 2 (baseline, midrange and PIC18F). All those PICs supported by the Microchip Windows PICkit 1/2 applications should be supported by Piklab as well. Piklab is at http://piklab.sourceforge.net/. Features of version 0.7.0: See the list of supported devices. * compile, assemble and link with the GNU PIC Utilities, the Small Device C Compiler, the PIC30 toolchain, and PICC compilers (PICC-Lite, PICC, and PICC-18). * disassembly listing with GPUtils only. * project manager with display of linker script and included files. * hex file editor for all but newest devices. Tested only with inhx32 format. * register view with display of available registers for the selected device. * configuration bits generator for GPAsm and SDCC (baseline, midrange, and some 18F devices), and for PIC30 toolchain. * programming with "direct" programmers (serial and parallel) for baseline, midrange, and most 18F devices. * programming with ICD2 (serial and USB) with automatic upload of the correct firmware for the programmer. * programming with Pickit1 for all supported devices. * programming with Pickit2 for all supported devices. * debugging with ICD2 for midrange devices only. Run, halt, step, and breakpoint. Program counter and breakpoints shown in assembler files. Read, write, and watch registers. * command-line programmer ("piklab-prog"). Most settings need to be set with the graphical interface. Does not need a running X server. Links to the KDE libraries. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
