Hi Palani

Try gschem from the gEDA project: http://geda.seul.org/ There are
PICs in the Library and making custom symbols is easy.

Cheers,
Ezra.

I use Eagle. Many others do as well. You can draw a schematic and it
will transfer the nets to a board for you to arrange.
http://www.cadsoftusa.com/
Outputs gerbers as well. The free version can do boards of size 160x100mm.

I also use Eagle, and find it an excellent product. It's not open source, but they do have something of the community feel, in that (at least on www.cadsoft.de) there are open repositories of component libraries and add-on tools provided by users. I've used it both for home etching (laser printer on transparencies) and to produce gerbers for a professional PCB house.
