Access denied. I registered and I'm even listed on the forum home page as a
new member but I can't get to your link. I tried a search on that number
211... but came up empty.

Anyway AC162049 may not be the best way to solve your problem.
It needs an extra AC164110 - RJ-11 to ICSP Adapter and a minor
modification (to clip resistor R1 off AC162049 ).

Once you buy PICkit 2, you can buy some prototype boards and
an 18pin  or a 28pin ZIF socket. Read the ICSP guide and make your
own connection.

Heh, now, thanks to BAJ,  that I got TLVP w/ ICSP working might not need
fancy new programmer.
