Thanks, I think that will help a lot.  I've probably heard something about 
them, but haven't really used them.  I've used vim for years, but I haven't 
gotten around to learning about all the advanced features (or even some of 
the basic features) and using the plugins.

I looked some at this when Marco mentioned it.  It looks very useful.  I'm 
surprised it isn't in Gentoo's package tree yet... how long has it been 
around?
