gnupic: Thread: debugging gpasm

I'm trying to run gpasm from gdb, but I keep getting an error like this:
  main.asm:3:Error [174] Unable to open file "p16f874a.inc" - No such
file or directory

I run it like this:
  $ gdb gpasm
  (gdb) run gpasm file.c

Is there a way to fix this problem?

Sorry, I meant to say this:
  (gdb) run gpasm main.asm
