Try http://www.8052.com

This is a Microchip PIC mailing list.

Try http://sdcc.sf.net for C-compiler.

To a point. There have been wider microcontroller development discussions
that were not only PIC related in the past.

To Gonzalo: I would advise taking a read of an excellent piece written by
Eric Raymond. It's called "How to ask questions the smart way." You can
find it here:

http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

One of the major points to question asking is to show that you've made an
attempt to research the answer yourself. I have my doubts here because the
first hit in Google for the search "8051 Linux" popped up:

http://www.pjrc.com/tech/8051

Which is a page dedicated to Linux tools for the 8051 platform.
