PICkit 2 (at US$35 for the programmer) is cheaper than ActiveWire USB and
it supports almost all Flash PICs.

I've received patches for pk2 regarding Mac OS from someone at MIT, and they 
also apply to pk2cmd, but I have no way to test it. Any volunteers?
