Hi all,

I was able to compile microwin sucessfully, but when I ran t1demo.sh I
always get "freetype_createfont: times,20 not found " . My config file
has FreeTypefont set to "yes", and I dod have my FreeTrueType fonts
install. I did run ./configure , "make" and "make install" in my
"freetype-1.3.1" sub directory.

Where should I put my *.ttf files. to get t1demo see them

Tuan

Check your config file, it's specified in there. It defaults
to the microwin/src/fonts directory, I believe.

I got it work. Combination of several things
Inside the t1demo.c all the true type font mapping were wrong such
as "arial" instead of "arial.ttf", and of course it need to point to the
right directory where the *.ttf files are located.
When truetype font is installed (from freetype-1.3.1.tar.gz), the
lib and include files will be installed at /usr/local/include and
/usr/local/lib respectively instead of /usr/include and /usr/lib set as
default in the microwin config file.

Thanks,

Tuan

I thought I fixed the automatic addition of ".ttf" in the latest version
of Microwindows. I'll check this.

Greg
