  Hello,

I am a senior, with very little knowledge of the workings of my computer but
I am learning.

Recently I purchased a used Plustek OpticPro 9636T scanner. There either was
no installation manual with it or I have accidentally misplaced it. Actually
I'm not sure there was one with it, however I do have the CD-ROM and am eager
to install it.

I realize now that this was probably a mistake to purchase a used scanner but
at this point I am willing to try to see what it will do.

Can you give me any pointers, i.e., should there have been an instruction
manual with it?

Thanks for any input you may offer. Your help will surely be appreciated.

Hi Wavelyn,

I assume, that your operating system is the one we don't like
here in this list and it comes from Redmond...
Well, this list is NOT the official Plustek support list NOR can
we help dealing with Windows-setup issues. If you need assistance.
have a look at the official Plustek sites at www.plustek.com or www.plustek.de

Oh - If you have the original CD-ROM, I think there's a copy of the
documentation on it. To read it, you have to install the acrobat stuff,
which is also on the CD (directory Acrobat). Simply roam through
the driectories of this CD...

Hope this helps
Gerhard
